Whitechapel CollegeAt the invitation of the ECL Exam Centre and the Foreign Language Centre of the University of Pécs a delegation from Whitechapel College, London paid a visit to Pécs. The members of the delegation included President Prof. Dr. John White, Chief Executive Mr Anwar Hussain and Head of the Department of German Mr Douglas Stevenson. Consultations were held with the head of the ECL Exam Centre concerning writing tests, holding examinations and developing the network of ECL exam sites in Great Britain. As a result of the discussions an agreement was signed declaring that from this point the Whitechapel College, London is responsible for carrying out the duties of the national ECL examination centre in Great Britain. The College also takes part in the writing and assessment of ECL tests and participates in the development of the ECL exam sites in Great Britain. Members of the delegation also consulted with the representatives of the University of Pécs concerning a possible co-operation in the field of law and economics education and student exchange.
